Victoria and NSW are both sitting at around 0.5% for days now, even after Easter’s low testing period!

This is great news for local eradication of COVID-19 here in Australia.

The Victorian government is also funding the development & manufacture of local COVID-19 tests! Anybody know how that is going?

This is important because ramping up of testing is key to maintaining eradication as we gradually open up to a less drastic social distancing ‘new normal’ soon.

And remember an early release vaccine is looking more and more likely.

So it’s important we keep as many people alive until we get the vaccine and NOT gradually let the population catch the thing as many experts have one-trackedly proposed.
