Victoria (1.3%) & NSW (1.4%) are heading towards near-eradication scenarios going on their % increase of cases per day.

And it’s now really low for 7 days straight!

We can eradicate it.

Eradication & a MASSIVE testing & tracing campaign

Prof Blakely is right that the tough decision is what to do now.

However, I do disagree with Prof Blakely about one thing: I think eradication is EASILY possible and that we should do it (and I was right about the likelihood of eradication a month ago as recorded here).

And we should maintain it through MASSIVE testing & tracing as we gradually open up – to a new ‘not’ normal.

And if we don’t have enough tests? Manufacture them here.

Do not tell me we can’t do that.

If we can’t do that we should just shut down our universities & businesses now and go back to the stone age.
