The daily % increase is dropping in the danger regions of Europe and the US due to social distancing. Italy and France may even be out of hot water (although the latter has a poor death trajectory suggesting it is under-testing). And Iran has been for a while but needs to now eradicate the virus.

Australia, with smaller numbers, has been steady at 25% increase per day (& highest % increase now in these plotted countries) for more than a week now and, with major near lock-downs, should see a drop.

Eradication. Not ‘herd immunity’.

We must eradicate the virus in each country by social distancing and closing borders. Expect to begin to hear governments coming around to ‘eradication’ and early release of (safe) vaccines.

There must be NO MORE TALK of ‘herd immunity’. Otherwise tens of millions will die including millions of young people.

And now we need early release of vaccines that are safe after trials of 500 people and perhaps 4-6 weeks of monitoring. We must NOT wait for proof of efficacy (function).

We must trust our vaccine designers for activity. Yes, we test for safety.

But we don’t wait for function.

We can cycle back in our designs as we go.
